The Making of 鸡蛋糕
CNY is coming, 婆婆decided to bake some kueh bahulu as home-made one is nicer! We involved in the preparation for fun :)This is my first time seeing how a 鸡蛋糕is being made using charcoal instead of oven.
Above picture shows a traditional baking mould that has many different shapes such as fish, butterly, shells etc.
This is the flour mixture..
Kueh bahulu is baked and popo quickly stick out so that it won't go over-baked.
This tray shows some of the ready-baked 鸡蛋糕. There are still many many more.. I wasn't able to taste any single kueh bahulu cause i was still unwell.. Think mummy will let me have some when i recover!
