Daddy's Birthday 25th May..

We celebrated daddy's birthday on Sunday at Kuishin Bo Jap restaurant. We had buffet lunch and the spread was good! There are sashimi, sushi, teppanyaki, Kaminabe(paper soup), desserts includes chocolate tarts, dark chocolate slices, white chocolate balls, choclate fondue etc.. Worth to pay a visit for lunch but dinner spread will be better! Cause there are king crabs and so on.

I love cawanmushi, cause i ate 2 bowls of it.. Hmm, yummy yummy!

We brought yu-qi along as well cause it will be bored if she stay at home with kakak.. She enjoy going out nowadays and she kept looking at the desserts on the table.. She even grab a stick of strawberry and put in her mouth :)

And on the actual day, 25th of May, mummy bought a cake to celebrate at home. I enjoy blowing the candles cause before daddy had a chance to make a wish, i already blew off some of the candles, opps :-)

Baby Zhou's party

We were invited to uncle Steven's baby 100days old celebration last saturday. Yes, it is 100days old celebration! Cause uncle Steven is from China, and this is one of their celebration apart from full month.

When we reached, we were told that there will be a balloon sculptures later but if you know me, i am the type of children who don't fancy all these! Hmm, i am not interested at all when i see the "clown", i also refused to take the balloon, somehow i wasn't in a good mood and was pretty grouchy, maybe is due to the warm weather!

Every children were asked to named one type of balloon they want and of course, i want a car! I think the clown has some difficulty sculpture my car balloon cause he took nearly 15mins to have it done! We wait for a long time and i think it is the most challenging balloon he made on that day.. Does it looks like a car? Hmm....

And here is the birthday baby Zhou HaoYang.. He has a birthday cake balloon sculpture, it looks pretty nice!
And after about 1.5 hrs of staying at the party, we have to leave cause i became more and more grouchy.

And because mummy had to get 爷爷 a father's day present and also elva 姐姐's birthday present, therefore we head to Isetan Scotts for some shopping.
My mood has become better, no more grouchy like just now.. And 妹妹 is a good girl, playing herself happily at her pram :-)

S'pore Flyer (part 2)

After our experience on board Singapore Flyer, we proceed to Yakult Rainforest Discovery. It is situated at the entire central atrium of the main Terminal Building. There are 5 winding access paths inside the rainforest and i enjoy the quiet serenity of our tropical rainforest.

Look at me, i enjoy watching the fishes swim freely in the pond with my kakak..

After the walk at the rainforest, we went to Marina Square as we need some food to re-energise us. We went to coffee club for a coffee, pasta, sandwhich and mud pie, mummy's favourite. Hmm, i am not interested in any of the food named here, therefore mummy ordered a french fries for me.. and yes, i only want to eat french fries, not even ice-cream!

Look at my mei-mei, isn't she cheeky? She likes to stick out her tougue nowadays.. Hmm, none of us teach her, not sure where she learned from *_*

Singapore Flyer

Since daddy has a pair of complimentary tickets to Singapore flights, therefore we utilised it on last Sunday before it expired.

Singapore Flyer is the world's largest observation wheel. Standing at a stunning 165m from the ground, the Flyer offers you breathtaking, panoramic views of the Marina Bay, our island city and beyond.

We brought mei-mei along to the capsule too cause it is not crowded at all even though it is a weekend. Fyi, we can even have a capsule on our own but won't have others to help out to take a family picture for us.

Look at mei-mei, she seems to enjoy the view of our island city :-) For me, i enjoy looking at the boats and ships..

And here is our family picture, thanks to one of the jie-jie for taking the initiative to take picture for us.

And this is the IR.. Still in the midst of building, will be completed by end of this year.

Mummy's 3rd Mothers Day..

This year is mummy's 3rd Mother's day and they went for dim-sum at Dragon Phoenix Restaurant at Liang Court on last saturday for celebration. This Mother's day is also mummy's first celebration with great-grandma and ah-ma together. (It is a three generation!)

After lunch, we proceed to Isetan Scotts for shopping. It was a nice experience to go out with great-grandma, ah-ma, gu-gu and bf together cause it is definetely more fun as there are more people to play with me :-)

On the bottom left picture above, it is my first mother's day card to mummy! I wish mummy to be happy and healthy forever!

Yu-qi is 6 months old

Last friday, daddy and mummy brought mei-mei and me for her last 6-in-1 jab and my 1st flu jab at SBCC. Fyi, i cried badly when the needle poke me whereas mei-mei only cried for a quick 3 seconds! Shameful me right? Partly also due to my tiredness cause we went straight after my school.

And time flies! I remember mei-mei was a small baby when i visited her in the hospital! And today, she turn 6months old. Mummy was very happy and proud that she hit her target of 6months of exclusive breastfeeding to mei-mei. Although these 6 months was very tiring and draining, ( i can tell cause mummy has a panda eyes) mummy said it is worth all the efforts! The tiredness can only understand by the same group of mummies who are breastfeeding and pumping exclusively! Mummy said even daddy also cannot truly understand :-)

Mummy would like to continue to breastfeed mei-mei till she is at least 9 months old and after that will be a bonus to mei-mei if breastfeeding is to be continued :-) Well done mummy! You have done a great job by giving both of us exclusive breast milk and i am so thankful that i am still able to drink your breast milk after yu-qi was born, thank you mummy!

After PD's green light to start on semi-solid food to mei-mei, mummy prepared mei-mei's first food on saturday (9 May). It is Happy Bellies organic brown rice cereal + breastmilk. Hmm, mei-mei didn't take it very well (but she looks happy throught out the feeding session!) cause it is the first feed and most of the cereal goes to her bib instead :-) Anyway, the whole experience is to introduce her to new food and also to train her to eat from a spoon.

Riding my tricycle

Nowadays i love to fetch yu-qi in my tricycle. Although i can ride alone, but i need somone to push if i am fetching yu-qi, cause it will be easier for me. Yu-qi enjoyed so much in the tricycle, she will look around the surroundings when being pushed. Me too, sometimes when mummy wanted to carry yu-qi up from the tricycle, i refused to let mummy do so and insist yu-qi to be sit down in the tricycle with me!

Hehe, you can hear me saying "pok" in this video. Fyi, it is a nonsense word and not sure why, i just like to say this purposely :-)

Breast milk spa..

Since mummy has enough fresh breastmilk for yu-qi and me, therefore frozen one has to be discarded cause it has been expired. Instead of pouring away, mummy used it to bath yu-qi.
Fyi, frozen breastmilk has a very unpleasant smell and it is really yucky! But mummy will rinse qi-qi with clean tap water after bath, otherwise qi-qi will have a very strong metallic/fishy smell :-)

Kakak's birthday

Last saturday, 2nd May is my kakak's 24th birthday. Kakak has been with us for about 8months plus and mummy said so far she is quite ok in handling yu-qi and also household chores. But of course she has the down side too which is she is quite forgetful at times! But no one is perfect so most of the time mummy has to keep reminding kakak and also praised her when she do a good job.
Daddy suggest to have a small celebration for kakak so she know she is part of us so they brought her to Sanur for lunch and also bought a cake for her. Needless to say, kakak is happy when mummy prepared the birthday cake and she also thanks daddy and mummy.

Yeah, is the time to sing birthday song, as if is my birthday right? Hee.. I enjoy blowing the candles with kakak and daddy have to light it again to let me blow! Yummy chocolate cake..

After our lunch, we proceed to OG and Robinson cause there is a20% storewide discount. I am so happy that daddy bought me a Rail house "take away" playset and mummy also bought a spoon, feeding bowl, mag mag cup for yu-qi cause she is turning 6 months next week and can start on semi-solid food.

Exersaucer and Jumperoo

Mummy wants to get mei-mei an exersaucer or jumperoo cause she seems bored sitting on the bumbo seat, play mat and so on. Actually i had a walker that mei-mei can sit but it was at popo's house, so mei-mei can only sit on it when we went back for holiday at end of this month. Therefore mummy had brought mei-mei to try on the display set of exersaucer and jumperoo and mei-mei seems to be excited on it! Mummy also mentioned that probably will get mei-mei a pre-loved set cause she will outrgow it soon!

Art and Craft & Pre-writting

Mummy has started me on some pre-writing worksheets and this is the only time where she managed to capture some of my work. I learned letter C today and i also do a craft of car, my favourite! Oh ya, mummy told me that i have to put in more effort on my colouring skills, cause it is really messy!
