Yu-qi is 6 months old

Last friday, daddy and mummy brought mei-mei and me for her last 6-in-1 jab and my 1st flu jab at SBCC. Fyi, i cried badly when the needle poke me whereas mei-mei only cried for a quick 3 seconds! Shameful me right? Partly also due to my tiredness cause we went straight after my school.

And time flies! I remember mei-mei was a small baby when i visited her in the hospital! And today, she turn 6months old. Mummy was very happy and proud that she hit her target of 6months of exclusive breastfeeding to mei-mei. Although these 6 months was very tiring and draining, ( i can tell cause mummy has a panda eyes) mummy said it is worth all the efforts! The tiredness can only understand by the same group of mummies who are breastfeeding and pumping exclusively! Mummy said even daddy also cannot truly understand :-)

Mummy would like to continue to breastfeed mei-mei till she is at least 9 months old and after that will be a bonus to mei-mei if breastfeeding is to be continued :-) Well done mummy! You have done a great job by giving both of us exclusive breast milk and i am so thankful that i am still able to drink your breast milk after yu-qi was born, thank you mummy!

After PD's green light to start on semi-solid food to mei-mei, mummy prepared mei-mei's first food on saturday (9 May). It is Happy Bellies organic brown rice cereal + breastmilk. Hmm, mei-mei didn't take it very well (but she looks happy throught out the feeding session!) cause it is the first feed and most of the cereal goes to her bib instead :-) Anyway, the whole experience is to introduce her to new food and also to train her to eat from a spoon.
