Baby Blisscard @ South West

As we are the resident of South West District, therefore Yu-Qi is entitle to received one baby bliss card, which is a cash card with a stored value of $38 on last Sunday. I received one too at year 2007 when i was about 5months old. Both of us received the baby bliss card from Dr Amy Khor, who is the mayor of south west district.

The Little Gym trial class

Thanks to Aunty Chantelle for sharing the good news to mummy that The Little Gym at Marina Square is giving free trial class for the month of July. So mummy called up and surprisingly she managed to get a slot for me on last saturday at 11am. When we reached, i was hesistate to go in and rather sit at the kiddy rides outside. So daddy told mummy that this type of gym is not my cup of tea! But i proved daddy wrong cause i actually enjoyed the class, i run everywhere i like and also be the demonstrator for somersault. The program includes motor development and rhythmic activities, group games, tumbling, movement, exploration, songs, ball play, and parachute activities. And when towards the end of the class, there are bubbles and stamps for us!I simply love the class but when the admin staff asked me whether i want to come again, i said no.. Hehe, maybe this is just me!

West Coast Park

As you know it is best to avoid crowded places at the moment, therefore we went to West coast park on Sunday to have a breath of fresh air.. We brought our tricycle and my favourite ball along. We reached the park around 2 pm and was glad that the weather was pretty good and it was a windy day!

Daddy play football with me and he said that my football skills has been improved! I think sooner or later i can join daddy to have their weekly football session with other uncles.

Qi-Qi was so happy when she can go out. The moment we open the door, she will smile and lean her body towards the door and refused to come in the house again :-)

Yu-Qi is 8 months old

Yu-Qi turns 8 months old on last Saturday! So far, mummy was happy with her development. She can now stand up by herself at her play pen, can walk side way while holding the bar (like crabs), can wave bye-bye (hmm, still need to be improved) and can said ah-pa.
Oh ya, she has two teeth from her lower gum since June, but mummy forgot to blog about this.

Boy or girl? JieJie..

Haha
, people has been asking me whether am i a boy or girl!!! And there are two children called me jie-jie! Do i really look like a girl? Yes, mummy agreed and especially in my school uniform, cause our uniform is unisex. There are 1 teacher, 2 classmate's mummy has been wondering am i a boy or girl until they asked!! Mummy said some of my features looks like girl plus my hair is long, therefore people will misunderstood. But i can understand, cause i simply refused to have my hair cut :-)

Two of us..

Mummy find it challenging to take a picture of both of us looking good. Nevertheless, here are some decent photos to share.. Most of the time is either one of us smile only.

Yu-qi is so cheeky, she knows how to stick out her tongue and smile to mummy :-)
Most of the evening time, kakak or mummy will push us around in our tricycle before our dinner time. Both yu-qi and me enjoyed sitting in our tricycle.

Having our dinner together. My high chair has passed to yu-qi and now i can sit at the stool having my dinner. Shameful to say that i still need to be fed during my meal cause i am just too lazy!! I can eat myself in the school while i demand to be fed at home!

Aunty Maggie's house

Last sunday, mummy bring yu-qi to a baby gathering organised by Aunty Maggie at her place at Hill View. The main objective is to bring the babies for a swim but the weather is bad, has been raining almost the whole day on last sunday.
So they stay at Aunty Maggie's house for chit chatting and let the babies crawl and play with Darwin's toys.. Thanks to Aunty Maggie for the toys and mummy is sure that Aunty Maggie will definetely need to clean all the toys with dettol!!

A visit to goat's farm (Hay Dairies)

Last Sunday, daddy brought us to Hay Dairies goat farm and it is the only goat farm in Singapore. It has 1,000 goats of mixed breed, producing milk for sale. The farm uses machines to milk, pasteurise, homogenise and bottle the goat milk before selling it directly to consumers.

I am pretty excited when daddy told me let's go and see the goats! Although the place is rather small and the smell is unpleasant, but i still enjoy looking at the goats.. Sadly, we missed the milking demonstrations which is in the morning from 9am to 11am. Perhaps we can pay another visit to the farm just for the milking demonstrations.

It was a sunny day when we reached so qiqi just stay under the shelter with kakak.. Look at her, she enjoyed playing with the balloon, she can pinch the balloon using her sharp fingernail and mummy was so scared that the balloon will burst!

Fire Station Visit

Mummy get to know from another mummy that SCDF offer open house on every saturday from 9-11am. Members of the public are welcomed to walk-in to any SCDF fire stations except Jurong Island fire stations.

Since i love fire truck so much, mummy suggest that we should pay a visit to the fire station. So two saturdays ago, we went to Bukit Batok's branch as it is nearer to our house. We were brief on the roles and functions of a fire station, its capabilities and its routine, demonstration on equipment used by firefighters as well as demonstration on sliding pole by firefighters

We were given 3 firefighter's hat during our visit and i only willing to wear it when i reached home. I help yu-qi to put on the hat and she keep taking off, maybe she feels uncomfy as the hat is too big for her. As for me, after i put the hat, i will turn to the mirror and look at myself..

Aunty Jacinda's house

Mummy brought me and mei-mei to meet Trysten and Thaddeus on last friday. Fyi, Trysten is about 3 months yonger than me while Thaddeus is also 3 months younger than Yu-Qi.
When we reached, Trysten was happy but once i starts to play with his cars, he starts to snatch from me and when i refused to give him, he will cry!! Hehe, think he cried about 5 times during our visit and also probably due to he used to play alone cause he has not attend any playgroup/nursery at the moment.

Yu-qi was happy too cause she can sit in the walker and walk around. As for baby Thaddeus, he is so chubby! He is about 4months now and his weight is close to 8kg and he is also wearing the same size diapers with his brother! So amazing right?

Meeting up with Nov mummies

Last wednesday mummy went out with other mummies from Nov thread. They went to Pearl River Palace for dim sum buffet lunch at Suntec City, followed by some shopping at Marina Square and ended with a mini celebration for Mummy Alicia cause her birthday is on Thursday. She is surprised cause she didn't know about this unplanned celebration!

Mummy enjoyed this gathering cause she can chat non-stop with all the mummies.. And all is under the same topic of babies!
