Mummy is into the mood of baking again. Since my snacks are running low, mummy baked some healthy oatmeal cookies to replenish. Everyone comments it taste nice, daddy even said it taste like the commercial one.. haha.. Of course i liked it too :)
Here it goes the recipe:
Ingredients
125g butter
60g sugar
30g cup rolled oats

120g plain flour
1 tsp vanilla essence (optional)
Method
1)Soften butter and mix with sugar and vanilla essence with a wooden spoon.
2)Mix in oats, then flour.
3)Separate into 2 portions and wrap in cling wrap.
4)Chill in fridge till firm.
5)Take out 1 chilled portion and roll out to about 1cm thick in between 2 sheets of cling wrap.
6)Cut with bear shape cookie cutter.
7)Re-chill dough if it becomes too soft to handle and work on the other portion.
8)Bake in oven at 190°C until lightly brown. Cool and store in airtight container
